What is Wiztox?
Wiztox is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. While it is a toxin, when used in controlled and purified forms, it has various medical and cosmetic applications. Wiztox works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected, leading to temporary muscle paralysis or weakening.
The primary medical use is to treat certain muscular conditions, such as uncontrolled blinking (blepharospasm), excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), and muscle stiffness.
However, it is more commonly known for its cosmetic use in reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles and fine lines. In this context, wiztox is injected into specific facial muscles to temporarily paralyze them, preventing the formation of wrinkles caused by muscle contractions.
- Efficacy: Strictly controlled for safety and high & stable potency.
- High Purity: High purity of 99%
- Potency& Stability
Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A
A white or pale yellow dried product in a colorless, transparent vial that, when dissolved in physiological saline, is a clear and transparent solution.
Assay (Activity test)
36 months from the date of manufacture
0.9% Sodium Chloride (mL)
Note. The diluent is calculated based on a 0.1 mL injection dose. The administration dose can also be controlled by increasing the injection dose. 0.05 mL (50 % decrease from the administration dose)~0.15 mL (50 % increase from the administration)
Wiztox keeps the stabilized potency of each vial with its strict quality control system.
Using Size Exclusion Chromatography High-performance liquid chromatography(SEC-HPLC), an undiluted toxin complex solution was analyzed which resulted in a purity of over 99%.
The efficacy test in the mouse shows equivalent efficacy compared to Company A’s product.
Both the safety & efficacy are proven in various pre-clinical studies.
