Understanding Greentox Botulinum Toxin
Greentox is a South Korean brand botulinum toxin type A. It is a white or slightly yellow dried product in a clear colorless vial and clear transparent solution when dissolved in saline. It is a neurotoxin that can block the release of acetylneurocholine, thereby blocking nerve conduction to muscles.
1 Vial contains:
Clostridium botulinum toxin type A: 100Units
Human serum albumin: 0.5mg
Sodium chloride: 0.9mg
How does Greentox botox work?
First, the botulinum toxin binds to neurons and then enters the nerve cell cytoplasm. Finally, the toxin inhibits the action of acetylcholine on the neuromuscular connection and paralyzes the muscles. This is called neuromuscular denervation.
Clinically, weakening of muscle movement usually occurs 2-3 days after injection. But eventually, axons can sprout to form new motor endplates, and nonfunctional motor units are absorbed, so that muscle function is gradually restored.
Treatment areas of greentox
1. The best effect is on 1/3 of the wrinkles on the face, such as forehead lines, glabellar lines, crow’s feet, and wrinkles on the back of the nose, etc., which can all be eliminated by botulinum toxin. In addition, it can also treat patients who still have fine wrinkles after facial wrinkle removal.
2. Greentox can adjust the eyebrow shape: eyebrow asymmetry can be corrected, perioral wrinkles can be smoothed, and mouth corners can be reshaped.
3. Face slimming and leg slimming: For those with enlarged facial masseter muscles and developed calf muscles. It can achieve the effect of slimming the face and thinning the calves.
